The album features "a concept story based on real happenings that occured in the town of Krupina during 17th century, amidst the numerous witchcraft trials that swept across Europe of those days." It is inspired by the 1979 book "Krupinské prísne právo".
A lot going on here but after repeat listens, it all makes sense. Catchy melodies and grooves are intertwined w/ scathing vocals. Creepy artwork too! Sean TPLTR
Sorrowful indeed. Utterly beautiful blackened doom metal with melody that draws out a cathartic release. Its works like these that have me believe what Schopenhauer said about music was true, that it speaks truth to what is at our most core. Camelus Dromedarius
